My friend’s little girl is the coolest one year old I’ve ever met. We trying to wean her off her “chupee”. She will not have it. Guess things like this takes time.

An incident happened a few weeks ago… and it is an example of someone who has yet to wean their kid off of something…
I was waiting at my usual bus stop. A lady was waiting as well. It was a nice day and the bus was late as usual. So we were sitting and then I guess her kid was hungry.. mind you he was running around..because he just lifted her shirt and started drinking. I kid you not!!!! And she acted like nothing was wrong. and I sat there slightly amazed and slightly disturbed. I think breastfeeding is a beautiful thing, but come on…should you still continue when you kid can walk up to you and start feeding itself.
but that’s my opinion… ultimately it is the parents job to decide what’s best for their child. Poor Kid.
